Markets4you Supports STEM Education and Clean Water Access for Highland Schools in Thailand
Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai, Thailand | June 2026
Markets4you, in collaboration with the RakThai Foundation, continued the “STEM: Inspiring Dreams, Building Futures – Phase 2” project across four small highland schools in Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai Province: Ban Samsop School, Ban Na Klang School, Ban Na Klang School (Ban Huai Phak Kut Branch), and Ban Mae Na Chon School.
The field visit introduced students to hands-on STEM learning through a real issue in their daily lives: access to clean and safe water. Students explored water sources within their schools, observed water usage behaviours, and studied the availability of safe drinking water in their own learning environments.
Through this activity, students worked together to identify challenges and discuss practical ways to improve water systems and drinking water service points according to each school’s needs. The process encouraged them to think critically, analyse information, communicate their ideas, and solve problems through active participation.
Beyond STEM education, the project also helps strengthen foundational skills such as teamwork, responsibility, and awareness of shared community resources. By connecting classroom knowledge with real local challenges, students are able to see how learning can be applied in meaningful and practical ways.
In the long term, the initiative aims to support the development of safe and sufficient drinking water service points while creating a learning model that responds to the needs of highland communities.
At Markets4you, we believe that creating lasting impact extends beyond financial markets. Through partnerships like this, we remain committed to supporting initiatives that expand educational opportunities, encourage innovation, and contribute to stronger, more resilient communities.
We are honored to work alongside RakThai Foundation in helping inspire the next generation of learners and changemakers.
